Andy decided a jailbreak and revenge at last. It was the night when a thunderstorm was intense. The hole which for many years Andy had been continuing digging penetrated the building. Andy appeared outside the prison through there. In the time of the watchman of the prison guard, it has been already grasped. He nailed a stone over the pipe of the sewage pipe with a sound of the thunder and made a hole in a pipe. And he went in the sewage pipe and got away forth. It was distance of only several hundred meters, but I think that the pain of Andy which advanced by lying prone in filth was far beyond imagination.
After having broken out of prison, Andy cleaned his appearance, and he went to the bank with an innocent look and received large sum of money. It was the money which a director of Shawshank Redemption embezzled. Because it was Andy to have managed, it was an easy thing for him including changing name. And afterwards Andy will be valid as Peter Stevens. In addition, Andy spread the information that the director embezzled in the media. Therefore the director committed suicide for fear of an investigation of the responsibility.
Several years pass after Andy broke out of prison, I will be discharged from prison. However, I who spent it for many years at a prison was not able to follow a flow in the world. I remembered the place where liked Andy in such a case. And I decided to go there. Therefore I found a letter from Andy.
Dear Red,
If you’re reading this, then you’re out. One way or another, you’re out. And if you’re followed along this far, you might be willing to come a little further. I think you remember the name of the town, don’t you? I could use a good man to help me get my project on wheels.
Meantime, have a drink on me ?and do think it over. I will be keeping on the eye out for you. Remember that hope is a thing, Red, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. I will be hoping that this letter finds you, and finds you well.

When I read this letter, I made up my mind to go immediately to Andy. Sure I remember the name Zihuatanejo. A name like that is just too pretty to forget. I find I am excited, I think I it is the excitement that only a free, a free man starting a long journey whose conclusion is uncertain.
I hope Andy is down there.
I hope I can make it across the border.
I hope to see my friend and shake his hand.
I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams.

The Real Culprit
One day Andy painted the roof of the prison. Then, Byron Hadley who is the one of the prison guard leaked a complaint. He told anyone that it cost a tax and was to get only a little money after all, though large sum of money was available. Andy which heard it to talk to Hadley without hearing the voice that everybody controlled. Then he said, very softly, to Hadley: "Do you trust you wife?" Hadley just stared at him. He was starting to get red in the face. Hadley used violence on Andy for anger. However he don't mind it, he have begun to talk about a method to escape from a tax. At first nobody believed his story, but Andy is a former elite bank clerk. The explanation was persuasive. Because Andy wrote himself to the necessary documents, it was said that it did not cost the money to employ a lawyer and a bank clerk. Andy expected only one that he wanted Hadley to present several beer. Hadley began to gradually believe words of Andy and decided to entrust him. Andy let this succeed and gained the trust from prison guards after all.
Andy was working in the library then. The library of the Shawshank Redemption was good environment. Therefore Andy continued writing a letter every day to increase the number of books in the provincial capital. The effort was rewarded, and the library gradually became a very big thing. In addition, he came to teach convicts the study in a library and pushed forward the acquisition of the qualification of them positively.
Tommy Williams joined our happy little Shawshank family in November of 1962. He was a professional thief. He was married, and there was the child, too. He strongly wished he studied to be reborn, for child and wife and acquired a qualification. And Andy liked such him very much, too. One day Tommy talked to Andy when he had heard from a person in the same profession that himself had murdered two human beings. The one of them who he murdered was Glemn Quentin of the pro golfer. The person in the same profession was the true criminal who caused a crime of Andy. Andy appealed to the director and the prison guards for this story. They were confused very much. Because Andy became a person necessary for Shawshank Redemption. They are inconvenient when discharged from prison now by Andy. Therefore they suppressed Tommy which knew the truth for muzzle to hide the truth.

Rita Hayworth
In the place such as the prison, bullying exists by all means. Then targeted person images are the always same. They prey is the young, the weak, and the inexperienced...or, as in the case of Andy Dufresne, the weak-looking. In the place where eyes of the monitoring did not arrive, he was always used violence on. Andy especially caught the terrible violence in not having taken an attitude that he flattered them for anyone. Bullies always waited for Andy to become alone. I wish I could say that, but I can't. Prison is no fairy-tale world. Also the guards know about these crimes and just let them be.

In addition, the guys who tormented Andy were punished for monitoring in sequence, and the bullying to Andy disappeared temporarily. I don't know what kind of business was carried out in the back. And, I'm not saying Andy Dufresne, but I do know that he brought in five hundred dollars when he come, and he was a banker in the straight world--a man who money can become power.
